hails from Toronto, having taught guitar, produced film scores,
and played in the jazz
group 'H-Trio'. His original tunes, however, are well structured,
lyrical and evocative
of many quietly passionate moods. This music is a cross between
CheckField and
Patrick O'Hearn with a softer bass, solid drumming and a romantic
twist. Bonk's
electro-acoustic guitar work is clear and compelling. His arrangements
are intimate
